Selected pupils of CLC went to Boracay Island Global Academy to attend the English Language Festival which includes Storytelling, Interpretative Reading, Editorial Writing, News Writing, Poem Writing, Feature Writing, Essay Writing contests, and Spelling.
Students said they were not really prepared for the contest and were trained for a few days only. They were not confident then but their coach Ms. Gee-Ann G. Estember along with other teachers encouraged them not to loose confidence and trust that they can win the contest.
The day has come. February 19, 2010 at the said school, other schools in Boracay and from the mainland municipalities of Aklan battled for championship in the different contests.
