CONPEREY Learning Center
HISTORY
Born out of necessity, CONPEREY Learning Center was established in School Year 1999-2000 in Caticlan, Malay, Aklan. From a rented one storey building with one classroom, one teacher and 32 kindergarten pupils, it transferred to a rented two storey building with three classrooms, and later built extension rooms to accommodate the 195 pupils for its full-pledged pre-elementary and elementary grades with the pioneer class graduated March 31, 2007.
Now in its decade of existence, CONPEREY Learning Center has finally transferred to its permanent in the year 2009. From a rented one storey and two storey building in a lot owned by the major share holders of the school. With the ground floor constructed. it contains seven classrooms, one staff room and a canteen facility. It has eight full-time teachers for its 242 pre-elementary and elementary pupils. Geographically from a seacoast overlooking Boracay with sea transport in view, the school is now situated along national Highway going Kalibo with the different land transport at sight.
HOW CONPEREY GOT ITS NAME?
From the founders' surname - CON for the late Constancio Irao CONstantino, PE for the maiden name of Dr. Concepcion PElayo Constantino and REY for spouses Lilian Remaneses-Rey and Arolf Badana ReY.

HELE Activity
One of CLC's aim is to encourage the pupils to be responsible in household chores. One of that is Bangus deboning. So, HELE teacher, Dan, decided to require the children to bring forceps, bangus fish, surgical gloves and apron. This is because he is going to demonstrate and teach how to debone a Bangus.

CLC holds KIDZIBIT 2010
Last February 19, 2010 was a great event for the CONPEREYnian kids when the grade 4-6 pupils put up their artworks dubbed as KIDZIBIT 2010: Unraveling Imaginations.
KIDZIBIT is a project of grades 4-6 in their Art Class and is also one way to gain money for the PTCA project through ticket selling and donations from visitors. The said event convinced the visitors from other schools and places that CONPEREYnian kids are really good not only in Mathematics, Science and English but with art as well. The artworks that was displayed in the two rooms we're considered Best Work during class activities.
The KIDZIBIT features Origami flowers such as lotus and diamond rose. There were Spider's Web made of yarn outside the rooms and Gremlins made of tissue paper and newspaper. Other artwork include a paper mache and Flower vases from their HELE Class.
The children are expecting another exhibit next school year.
